TLDR:
Sweet, ripped barries and creamy
Nice Scale: 82/100
Cask strength batch 8, a marriage between Pedro Ximenez, Oloroso, Rioja barriques and medium charred/toasted American Virgin oak barrels. Bottled at 57.2%.
GlenAllachie 10 Cask Strength Batch 8 57.2% (OB)
Nose: Very obvious sherried influence, ripe berries, plums, leather and gummy bear sweetness. There are some woody elements in the nose as well. Good start on the nose.
Mouth: Sweet(like gummy bear again), honey, plums, a bit sharp in the mouth at first, and then creaminess starts to show itself. Vanilla, toffee and oak spice as well.
Finish: Creamy, and sweet again; it tastes like a gummy bear lingering around in the mouth. Oaky.
Interesting cask strength, very sweet and full of gummy bears. Unfortunately, I found it a bit too sweet.
